Kampong Cham

Kampong Cham is the financial commitment of the region of the same name and the third biggest city in Cambodia. With its Mekong Stream place and relatively closeness to Phnom Penh (123km) and Vietnam, Kampong Cham has always been an essential business and transport hub. The road from Phnom Penh is in fantastic condition-you can get here in just under two time by street or by the topic vessels that are a primary method of transport between areas on the Mekong Stream. Either way it's a awesome fide, with opinions of the non-urban landscapes or river place, based on which way you go.

The city itself is wonderful and wonderful with its vibrant morning river landscape and extensive blvd roads beside the stream. There are a few beneficial destinations nearby and with it's place on the way by vessel or street to Kratie, Mondulkiri, Rattanakiri and Stung Treng Provinces; it's a awesome jump-off factor.  Kampong Cham is a mix of the old and the new, with a new forehead being designed in and around old remains and the big vessel vessels getting individuals and products to the other part of the Mekong, right next to the development of the first link ever designed here.

Because there is little international financial commitment and no large travel and leisure (almost every foreigner who comes here is a backpacker), this city is quite inadequate with a few contemporary structures, though not missing in France structure from the northeastern interval. It is just like many other Cambodian places, being rather unclean, with rubbish a typical vision. The individuals of Kampong Cham are very helpful and start to interesting with visitors.  If latest tasks seem to be helping the condition of factors here (relative to other Cambodian cities), keep in mind that both PM Hun Sen and former Phnom Penh Governor Chea Sophara are initially from this region.
